The SPL-MSB Research Infrastructure (RI) is a Czech laboratory within the European research infrastructure CERIC-ERIC. It consists of two parts, the Materials Science Beamline (MSB) at the Elettra synchrotron in Trieste and the Surface Physics Laboratory (SPL) in Prague. The main objective of the project is to modernize and upgrade the RI in order to provide conditions for top quality research relying on state-of-the-art experimental equipment, with focus on investigation of novel types of catalysts for electrocatalytic oxygen reduction, oxidation of hydrogen and reduction of toxic reactive oxygen species.
