New logo of the Nanomaterials Group

The Nanomaterials Group presents its new logo. The logo has been selected in a competition, for which group members and a few other people submitted 26 proposals in total. The proposals were presented anonymously to the group members, who then voted on them in a secret ballot. Each member could vote for up to five different proposals. The winning proposal has received 13 votes from 23 members who voted.

The competition has generated a modern, lightweight logo, which is in fact our first group logo. Up to now we provisionally used the logo of the SPL-HTC infrastructure, which we operate.
